Note; I haven’t actually used Open AI deep research. I’m sure it’s neat. But also what a confusing(???) name lmao

@calebfahlgren Above paints it as just predictive text, but quote from Apple > Autocorrect receives a comprehensive update with a transformer language model, a state-of-the-art on-device machine learning language model for word prediction

@jarredsumner Also me: Uses mostly Zed, an editor without extensions in the traditional sense (instead, many popular Code extension functionality is built into the editor 1st class) Maybe that is the right solution?

@thdxr To be fair most major cloud providers offer block storage. Local NVMe has valid use cases too; best application I've seen are for tiered storage backed by object storage for even better cost and durability properties. Good examples are Neon & some Kafka implementations.

And the Pages router recommendation for Next.js too? Why not App router— you know, to match the default in the Next.js documentation?

@renanvieira @isamlambert @mewwts Personally haven't worked with either (but first evaluated Citus ~ a decade ago). That Crunchy Bridge folks do not recommend for B2C is a bit worrisome. There's also this and a few large Postgres shops have built equivalent (close source tho)
