I recently told my friend that women need to stop being embarrassed when it comes to their experiences with men. We have literally all been through something with somebody’s son & it’s really okay. Self awareness is the only thing that will free the girls & we need to give grace
One thing I don’t do is judge women by their experiences with men. It’s unfortunate that so many women take so long to find their value and walk away from people and situations that don’t serve them well. I just be wishing they find their place in happiness sooner than later!

Exactly!!! Jamaica carnival was started by Trinidadian UWI students maybe 30 years ago. It’s a borrowed idea. Carnival is not Jamaica culture so the think pieces are interesting because most Jamaicans in Jamaica don’t participate. It’s considered an “uptown” ting & IYKYK 🤷🏾♀️
Your Carnival actually has to be rooted in culture for this to make sense. Some islands just have parties with no real foundation.
