I lost my father to a Covid breakthrough case today. He was 85 and fully vaxxed. So, when you see the stats today, know that one of the 18 who died from Covid was a man named Jerry Maffeo who happened to be my favorite person in the whole world. I am shattered.

Crows are awesome. I had a pet crow in my yard that I fed Cheerios to when I was in 2nd grade. It liked perching on my shoulder while I walked around my neighborhood. My crow also used to play ball with me by rolling it to me with its head and I would roll it back. I was weird.

Fun Kennedy Fact: my husband’s grandfather, Joe Russo, ran for congress against JFK. He had a good chance of winning, so JFK’s dad, Joe Kennedy, paid another Joe Russo to enter the race and split the vote. My husband’s grandfather did not win that race.
