That really was a PITA. Once the smart kettle company went insolvent, then the device couldn't connect to their server and there was no way to open source that system. Saying that, I recently found someone has found a workaround, but that will be a weekend tinkering, just to get a kettle working! (may not be such a smart use of my time 😅)

Agree completely but well aware this is an avenue that SEO teams and agencies push down rather than tackling the tougher issues around integrated content. Hopefully most, even with the siloed approach still try to keep it revolving around business and audience but I see far too many search award entries where they don’t. As you suggest - this is fundamentals and first principles, or should be.

Heading back to Ireland on a delayed flight. More trees and branches down at our place and one of the windows in our youngest’s bedroom blew out last night. Glasshouse has list several more glass panes. No power since the night. Eager to get back to help out Mrs.W. #StormÉowyn

@jonoalderson @yoast This is my whole issue with Wordpress in general now - not just singling out Yoast. The CMS just becomes a bloated mess, when I only wanted to have a handful of web pages, some transitions and maybe a form. It’s just too much now.
