ESAs are dangerous for homeschoolers. The proof is already available in several states that have passed laws going vouchers to homeschoolers. đŸ§”

@DenniSerran @JoyceAnnBurns @TheRobertBshow I’ve been homeschooling for 25 years without a voucher, and I would never take one.

@DenniSerran @PeachyOn3 @JoyceAnnBurns @TheRobertBshow Public school teachers are trained for public school classrooms and government-style education. Homeschoolers have discovered many more flexible ways to educate.

@JoyceAnnBurns @DenniSerran @TheRobertBshow I am not out of touch. I have been divorced, single, working, broke, and still homeschooling. I learned how to find options and make it work. That’s why I say that with confidence. It’s why I wrote my book, why I blog, and why I speak. I know what I’m talking about.

@GregAbbott_TX “Funded separately like roads and water” is definitely a new layer of bureaucracy. Thanks for confirming. Now taxpayers will fund two education systems.

Tell that to the ones pulling the strings. We did not ask for this.

Conservatives should remember that in spite of the division on ESAs, we still have a lot to do elsewhere. Before we cut each others throats over a single subject, lets work together to accomplish everything we do agree on.

@MamaBearRising @wesvirdelltx Amen to this. Maybe if you guys would actually focus on the conservative issues you were elected for, we could move on. But flipping your principles casts a shadow on every single other issue.

When Abbott and the school choice cheerleaders share polls and graphs, notice how often there is no citation. Anyone can make a chart. I could make one right now that’s super colorful and add my own numbers. It’s tacky. Don’t fall for it.

@ShannonJoyRadio Shannon, I don’t understand how you can find a way to vilify the first president in decades to expose corruption in DC. We get it. You don’t like Trump.

This is absolutely the MOST IMPORTANT thing said today during the meeting with Elon Musk and Donald Trump Listen to EVERY WORD: Elon Musk “If there's not a good feedback loop from the people to the government. And if you have rule of the bureaucrat or if the bureaucracy is in charge, then what meaning does democracy actually have? If the people cannot vote and have their will be decided by their elected representatives in the form of the president and the Senate and the house, then we don't live in a democracy. We live in a bureaucracy. So it's incredibly important that we close that feedback loop. We fix that feedback loop and that the public, the public's elected representatives, the president, the house and the Senate decide what happens as opposed to an a large unelected bureaucracy.” “You can't have an autonomous federal bureaucracy. You have to have one that is responsive to the people. That's the whole point of a democracy.” “If you asked, looked at the founders today and said, what do you think of the way things have turned out? Well
what we have this unelected, fourth unconstitutional branch of, of government, which is the bureaucracy, which has in a lot of ways currently more power than any elected representative.” Completely logical. We need huge reform.
