“Brexit has been a resounding disaster. Starmer must find the courage to change course” Good stuff from ⁦@EdwardJDavey⁩. I got sacked as our Lords Europe spox for saying something similar 2 years ago, but I’m delighted that Ed is now saying this.

Excellent call just now on @IainDale #LBC. Unfortunately Iain still thought we were still a member of #Europol. No wonder why are in such a mess from #Brexit which is responsible for much of the increase in immigration.

One of the joys of completing a multi-year project is reconnecting with long-term friends such as ⁦@cheng_christine⁩ I hope this survey of higher level discussions on security and global challenges since 1946 published by Routledge proves useful.

🔥🕊️I've spent the whole day following the news about the drone attacks Ukraine launched deep into Russian territory. And one thought keeps surfacing: It’s impossible not to notice the parallels with Ukraine’s own history. I keep thinking of Princess Olga. More than a thousand

Today at #PMQs I raised the reality of poverty and inequality in the South Cotswolds — issues too often overlooked here. The last govt deepened the crisis, and this one is failing to fix it. Our communities deserve better. 📺 Watch here: https://t.co/94CP0XR77s #LibDems #PMQs

I am sick and tired having to pay for #Brexit with tax increases. Time to join the EU customs union and single market to cut my (our) tax bills.
