Today, my preceptor asked what my first goal is once I become an attending.
I said, 'To buy my mom a house!!!'
She’s worked incredibly hard her entire life as a single mom, and I want to give her a home she can grow old in!

Feeling really positive about the growth I'm experiencing already! Eee!

Hard to say exactly, I’m interested to see if there is any data from the AAMC on job experience! My guess would be 15%? And I totally agree! I think having some real life experience helps docs be more effective and personal at the bedside later on!
HAPPY PRIDE!! So thankful to attend a medical school that supports Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
Excited to see such great work put on by the queer community of Tallahassee. Proud is an understatement. 🏳️🌈
