Some personal news... ✈️🔋 When @MarkMooreNASA, @jeffholden, and I co-founded @Uber Elevate, we had a clear vision to radically transform cities with urban, on-demand aerial ridesharing. Since then, the world’s top investors, manufacturers, aerospace giants, auto companies, and airlines have put over $10B in capital towards this goal, surpassing even our wildest expectations. Since leaving Uber and selling Elevate, I've had the privilege of working closely with @AdamGoldstein13 and the @ArcherAviation team as an advisor over the last several years. I’ve been continually impressed by how rapidly the team has advanced — our Midnight aircraft is impeccably designed, now at the final stages of FAA certification, and we expect to start flying passengers in New York City and more in 2025, starting with a $1B order from @United Airlines. So I'm excited to officially join the team as Chief Commercial Officer and help bring electric aviation to market, both domestically and abroad! US company, Archer Aviation has announced its plans to launch commercial eVTOL operations in the UAE by late 2025. The Midnight aircraft will significantly reduce travel time between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, emphasizing safety, efficiency and sustainability.
