Carteret County Public Schools will operate on a two-hour delay Tuesday morning due to the weather.

Due to severe weather predictions of wind, rain and higher tides, combined with several roads already under water as of Sunday evening, Carteret County Public Schools will be closed for students Monday. It will be an optional workday for staff.
