Another cold front is sliding across Green Country today and reinforcing the chilly air. SE OK feels like spring this morning, but you'll be noticeably chillier later this afternoon. Friday, yet again, looks chilly and mostly dreary for most of us, a little warmer in SE OK.

Warm weather fans are still dreaming of what we had on Monday... It's been a slog of chilly, drizzly, dreary weather since then! Just Mother Nature's way of reminding us that it is, indeed, still winter. #OKwx @NewsOn6

February can bring some pretty wild temperature swings around here. The last 24 hours are a perfect example! We've gone from yesterday's record warmth straight back into winter today. Out in the panhandle & NW OK, they are SIXTY degrees colder than this time yesterday! @NewsOn6

We've got a wicked case of weather whiplash today! Much chillier weather has quickly taken hold after Monday's record warmth. That stalled out front in southeastern Oklahoma will play a major role in our up-and-down temperature roller coaster for the rest of the week. @NewsOn6

A cold front slides in late today and stalls out in southeastern OK overnight. Temperatures for most of us will be much cooler Tuesday, but where we go from there later this week is still a big question mark as that front continues to waffle back and forth. @NewsOn6

January ends with a blustery day, but we flip the calendar to February tomorrow with a spring fling! We may have to deal with fog again Saturday morning, but we'll rebound into a fantastic afternoon. And we've got full-on t-shirt weather for Groundhog Day Sunday! @NewsOn6

As expected, southeastern Oklahoma got some good soaking rains Wednesday into Thursday. Rain totals across far northern Oklahoma and southeast Kansas were lighter, but enough to settle the dust in most spots. @NewsOn6

Rounds of rain will move across eastern OK over the next 24 hours, with the bulk of the rain happening early Thursday morning. Southeastern OK still looks to be lined up to see the heaviest rain totals. #OKwx @NewsOn6

Some beneficial rains are on the way! A few light showers during the day, then scattered heavy downpours this evening. The biggest coverage of rain for eastern OK will be late overnight/early Thursday morning. Rain will be on a downward trend Thursday afternoon. #OKwx @NewsOn6

Temperatures are finally thawing out today! Gusty south winds will give us a good Friday warm-up. Clouds increase and winds decrease on Saturday as another front approaches. Sunday takes a chillier turn before another warm-up kicks in next week! #OKwx @NewsOn6

It's a blustery Thursday across Green Country. That gusty north wind has a bite to it today! We'll get a better warm-up Friday and Saturday before temperatures drop again Sunday. #OKwx @NewsOn6

The bad news: Parts of Green Country felt sub-zero lows this morning! 🥶 The good news: This was the bottoming out of our several day Arctic blast. We'll finally climb back above freezing tomorrow. #OKwx @NewsOn6

A once-in-a-generation winter storm continues from south Texas into southern Louisiana and southern Mississippi this morning. There is a Blizzard Warning in effect from Port Arthur, TX to Lake Charles, LA! These are some very rare snowy scenes in the deep South!

The Gulf Coast regions are gearing up for a rare winter storm! Parts of the Houston & New Orleans metros could see more than 4" of snow Tuesday! And even northern Florida sees snow/ice late Tuesday night! This could be a once-in-a-generation winter storm for the far southern US.
