I am a founder of IWTV and was SMV's iPPV producer when live streaming pro-wrestling was in its infancy, so I feel pretty qualified to talk about this subject. The amount of live streaming that goes on today is not only a waste, but it has been overall detrimental to the indies.

I'll keep saying it: one of the worst things WWE has done is make people think pro-wrestling is whatever WWE is doing. Simple storylines with in ring action you can't see anywhere else on TV is what AEW needs to focus on.
@AEW is in need of a complete reboot. The product needs to be character & story driven and not chasing 5* matches from @davemeltzerWON. Have faith in @TonyKhan & #AEW. It’s just time to adapt.

I have no opinions on this debate, but I do know that it sucks that so many fans think that pro-wrestling needs to follow the WWE template. Not every company needs to be family-friendly or appeal to your tastes. I say this as someone who promotes a family-friendly promotion!.
