@AnnJohn30914404 Looking at the surge of populism across Europe & the US, Starmer is acting to snuff out their appeal by taking up the electorates concerns, & delivering in a way that forces the parties on the right to the extremes, and cannibalise each other.

@KateVasey I don’t agree with everything they’ve done so far, but I remain hopeful that their intention is to improve the lives of the poorest people in the country. Call me naive, but we’ll see over the course of the parliament.
