Most gnosticism was anti-semetic and wanted to purge all Judeo aspects of christianity, the demurge being the jewish god.
Love the pop history idea that "Gnostic Christianity" was like the suppressed woke alternative to proto-orthodoxy, and then you actually read Nag Hammadi texts and they're incoherent babble about how women are defective and have to reincarnate as men to be saved
