Update on evacuation of Nigerians from Sudan
The first batch of about 1600 stranded Nigerians that are being evacuated from Sudan by the Federal Government through the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) are expected to arrive Abuja tomorrow, Friday 28th April, 2023.
They were received by the Deputy Governor of Borno State Umar Usman on behalf of the Governor Professor Zulum. At the airport, the Airforce also demonstrated, using its helicopters to Parachute-drop food for the IDPs in hard to reach areas.
