At Forest school we were using different tools and learning how to whittle. We listened carefully to all the safety instructions and followed them! We had great fun and loved taking part!

Primary 2a have been learning about road safety, we have been busy making posters and with the new car park in mind are keen to share an important message about crossing the road safely. We would like to remind everyone to ‘Think, Stop, Look & Listen then Cross’ ✋👀👂

We were using tools today, we talked about the safety of the tools and how to create a bubble around us to keep ourselves and our friends safe! We used a bow saw to saw the branch! We are going to use our stumps to create something amazing! #forestschool

Yesterday the Saplings celebrated Lunar New Year, we talked about the year of the snake 🐍 and listened to stories about the different animals in the zodiac calendar. We were creating lanterns and making snakes. Happy Lunar New Year 🧧

Today during Forest school we built a shelter, tied different knots and played in the trees.

Pleased to report we haven’t sustained any damage. We do appear to have some new playground equipment. If any of our neighbours recognise this as theirs. Please make contact with the school office on Monday to reclaim and remove. 🐊 Crocodile Corner 🐊 will remain closed on Monday 27th as a result of the above. Children and families should use The Boulevard or Learner’s Lane to access the building.
