5 Bn Assam Tezpur Firing practice for first year and second year cadets were carried out from 8, 9 and 10 February at Harchura Firing Range. A total of 145 SD and 163 SW Cadets from 13 Colleges of 5 Bn Assam have participated. Total 1266 round of amn was expended during the Firing practice.

Cdt Sgt Bharti Kumari of 50 Assam Air SQN NCC (Guwahati) won a Gold medal in 19th National Ashtedu Akhada Federation of India Championship 2024 - 25 (FIT) & a Silver medal Khelo India ( Asmita ) Women's League held at Vasantrao Naik Govt. College , Nagpur Maharashtra from 1st to 3th Feb 2025. She participated above 19 year Category under 45 kg and won one gold medal in Hand Fighting, one Silver medal , one silver medal in Fari gatka ( Fencing ).
