I have zero doubt they will get voted in at the next GE too. Successive governments have failed so deeply that they are now feeling the effects of a jaded and non-educated population looking for some magical pill to fix issues that no party is ready to do. IMO the only solution is this. They’ve dressed up LVT as a very national thing to make it palatable but it’s just standard LVT.

$EOSE did the most pro-storage fast track just happened? Fast-tracking 26GW for 2026-2027? Holly shit! PPAs with Microsoft, Google, Nucor are set for Q1 2025... I bet this was a big rock on their shoes that just got removed. They are giving the go-ahead for multiple GWs of any kind of energy, but as it should, storage is set to capture a huge chunk of it.

"Millennium Management LLC increased its position in shares of Eos Energy Enterprises by 5,744.5% during the second quarter. Millennium Management LLC now owns 3,164,017 shares of the company's stock valued at $4,018,000 after acquiring an additional 3,109,880 shares in the last quarter."

We need Land Value Tax. This is would not be a wealth tax - it would be a whole new tax system which is infinitely more efficient and would increase wealth equality across age groups and income groups, enable actual social mobility, reward actual work and completely transform our economy. I’ve just learned about it and highly suggest anyone reading this checks it out on YoTube. Good place to start:
