@Britannioj @ajlamarc The open question for me is how much guidance an AI model tuned for Rama would need on algorithms and technique. If the AI can understand things like "keep data and processing balanced across partitions", then it could be less than 1k lines of natural language.

Adoption hasn't been a problem, and we have a great set of case studies we'll be publishing from our private beta users when we move into general availability early next year. I do agree that an AI for writing a backend using Rama will be pretty awesome. We haven't had the bandwidth to invest in that yet.

The older I get, the more amazed I am that John McCarthy invented Lisp in 1958 when the popular programming languages were Algol, Fortran, and Cobol. 66 years later and it's still mind-blowing to the vast majority of the industry.

A traditional architecture of reading/writing to one or more databases from an app server is just stream processing with really bad fault-tolerance and tons of race conditions. If writing to multiple databases, it's nearly certain they will become inconsistent with each other.
