My sister-in-law graduated from MIT with engineering degree. She worked for a aeronautics company for a couple of years. She married my brother and immediately quit work to start a family. Big income loss. They had 3 amazing boys, all homeschooled, and are very close as a family.

I preached from Romans 11 today. It's very interesting how God used Israel's rejection of His Son, Jesus, to bring the Gospel to the Gentiles. And how we Gentiles are to honor the root of our faith which is the faith of Abraham and the patriarchs.

Agape love is described as a covenant vs a contract. A covenant is a unilateral promise. A contract is bilateral - I promise x if you promise y. If one breaks the contract the other can get out of the contract. Marriage is a covenant not a contract. God's love is a covenant.
