Finished reading this book by @50cent. It’s 🔥 great and better than most business & leadership books out there. A few big takeaways: 1. Don’t let fear hold you back 2. Competition is good. Even creating artificial competition can be good for motivating both teams. 50 Cent created a “planned” rivalry between him and Kanye when they were both releasing albums at the same time in 2007 (Graduation and Curtis) to see who would have more sales. 50 Cent said Interscope stopped investing a lot of marketing in him so this rivalry and the buzz it generated boosted his sales at least 30% more than what it would have been. 3. Never become complacent and stop hustling.

This is crazy. @DOGE and @elonmusk’s team should use @BlazeNoCode to build an electronic, automated, and secure method to process retirement paperwork. Blaze could literally build it in a few days!
Federal employee retirements are processed using paper, by hand, in an old limestone mine in Pennsylvania. 700+ mine workers operate 230 feet underground to process ~10,000 applications per month, which are stored in manila envelopes and cardboard boxes. The retirement process takes multiple months.

Accurate? I am enjoying this OpenAi vs DeepSeek rivalry 😂 One of the developers at @BlazeNoCode found that DeepSeek API has full compatibility with OpenAI API. Meaning if you have an OpenAi integration, you can easily switch to DeepSeek by simply using a different base URL and API key.

Want to build custom chatbots that use OpenAi or DeepSeek? Use No coding needed - you can be non-technical and build in the platform. I’ve made chatbots like: ✏️Marketing Content Creator: writing full blog posts based on my prompts ✈️ Travel Planner: creating itineraries 🏥 Health & Nutrition coach: sharing meal plans and health tips

I upgraded to OpenAi’s $200/month Pro subscription to try the hot new Operator assistant tool and recorded my first interaction. Here’s what happened 👇🏼 1. My first prompt was asking it to give me price comparisons for round trip flights between Los Angeles and Shanghai. 2. Operator takes a long time to perform these searches in its browser. 3. Operator had to ask me basic clarification questions along the way. Note that the video recording is on 4.3x speed. The whole thing was actually 15 minutes long. 4. Operator ultimately wasn’t reading the browser information correctly and informed me it couldn’t find any non-stop flights. This is not correct as there are, in fact, many non-stop flights. I know this is the early version of Operator so hoping it will get better fast! Will share my next prompt here and hope it does better. I see the potential!

Here are the 5 Executive Orders that President Trump signed on January 20, 2025, that impact startups and tech 👇🏼 1. 🤖Revocation of AI Oversight Regulations: President Trump repealed a 2023 executive order by former President Biden that established oversight for artificial intelligence development. This action removes previously set guidelines and reporting requirements for AI systems, potentially allowing startups greater flexibility in AI innovation. 2. 🗒️Establishment of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE): DOGE aims to streamline federal operations. This initiative is expected to open new opportunities for tech startups specializing in government technology solutions. 3. 📱Temporary Reprieve for TikTok: 75-day reprieve for negotiations and to address national security concerns, likely impacting tech companies involved in social media and data privacy sectors. 4. 💰$500 Billion AI Infrastructure Project: The $500 billion project named “Stargate” is a collaboration with OpenAI, SoftBank, and Oracle, to develop extensive AI infrastructure. This initiative could create numerous opportunities for startups in AI development and related fields. 5. 🏦Easing of Cryptocurrency Regulations: This EO ends debanking practices against cryptocurrency companies, aiming to foster a more favorable environment for crypto startups and investors. This move is anticipated to lead to a resurgence of crypto startups in the U.S. Did I miss any? Which one do you care about the most?

You never know where you could meet your next co-founder! I had the pleasure of interviewing ⚡️@BlazeNoCode’s investors, Eileen and Tara, co-founders of VC firm Black Opal Ventures, on how they met and launched their first $58 million fund. Very unique story! Article link 👉🏼 @CSQMag
