I know I haven’t talked about the cancer story on here before but just wanted to say I’m SO forever grateful that people still remember.
People will forget about me, but they will always remember the message. Check your skin. Say something (even if they’re on the other team) 💙
Love seeing the Kraken get recognition all over sports media today.
Stuff like this does a lot to get more eyes on the Kraken and make more hockey fans.

The NP continued to push back at my mom saying it was probably okay, “due to her playing tennis, and that they didn’t need an XRay. My mom advocated and they finally took one. Got a call that, yes, she does have scoliosis and now has a follow up with an orthopedic doc.

Toxic epidermal necrolysis initiated by SMX-TMP drug. Progressed past Steven’s Johnson’s syndrome because the epidermal detachment covers over 30% of the body. Can test clinically with Nikolsky’s sign. 20% higher mortality in this case than SJS. Must be incredibly painful :(

Ah, classic target lesion! Erythema Multiforme… either from the respiratory tract infection (probably Myco Pneumo), or allergic rxn to the drugs given for treatment. I think it would depend on the onset of eruption, if the outbreak was sudden after drug administration or not…

Diffuse alveolar opacities, possibly left sided hilar lymphadenopathy? Need more history in terms of productive cough, dyspnea, etc- but if you’re pointing us towards a cancer with the weight loss hint: squamous or carcinoid tumor? Confirm with SVC syndrome, Cushings in hx.
