Our first educational project, DEGRADATOR, is now in the Journal of Chemical Education @ACSPublications! Tested with 97 high school students, it enhances understanding of protein degradation. A step towards making molecular biology more accessible.

Why does HSP70 inhibit CHIP E3 ubiquitin ligase activity? Using C. elegans, we developed a tool showing that HSP70 limits CHIP under stress to prevent excessive turnover of its substrates, preserving germline function. @jbiolchem #Proteostasis #C_elegans
