@Bobsmith1725 @heymrsbond For using a real example of what they would have watched anyway to teach them about imagery and how to think beyond the immediate gut reaction? No wonder you all hate art so much. Loyal, messageless patriotism saps your children of any soul and intellect they might have had.

@DefiyantlyFree @DarrigoMelanie How much of that went to the schools in the surrounding communities? How much went to investing in the surrounding communities, besides making their employees pay for those things? This is the kind of behavior that led directly to the Great Depression.

@RoxanneBT @karlykingsley When BoE works correctly, and is run by teachers, not politicians, it properly INVESTS in students. Bush’s NCLB made sure everyone knew that Republicans thought your grandkids were a poor investment.

@DonaldFoss @karlykingsley So repeal NCLB, and implement actual “No Children Left Behind” policies, not “hurt public schools, so we can profit off of charter schools.”

@KarenRaff2 @karlykingsley NCLB hurt pretty bad. Teachers didn’t need their school’s funding tied to test scores.

@GabSilang2024 @karlykingsley They won’t have the funding in red states to do it correctly and will “compromise” by hurting those who need help most.

@cobssybil @acnewsitics Not at all. Trump tried to push it through without due process, so they could have carte blanche, but instead, the teams just… went for it…?
