USS Mason scored another shoot down. This time responding to MT Ardmore Encounter. Based off AIS, it appears MT Ardmore Encounter had armed guards onboard at the time of the incident.
USS Mason shot down a Houthi drone coming out of Yemen, acc to U.S. defense official.Suspected one way attack drone headed towards Mason, which was responding report Houthis attacking MV Ardmore Encounter, using
skiffs & then firing 2 missiles that missed.
No damage. No injuries.
