I'm not sure what's weirder. The fact that Baldi's Basics is now 5 years old, or the fact that random kids have had this strange bald funny man I came up with when I was a kid plastered onto their birthday cakes.

I was trying to clean up the project a little bit and deleted a folder of shaders called "Old" and accidentally deleted the depth buffer shaders used by the whirlpools. Whoops! Until the next patch just pretend the whirlpools have been replaced with a magical teleporting elixir!

A few fun facts about the update to the field trip demo: The new character is named Cloudy Copter. Because it's a cloud. That looks vaguely like a helicopter. :P

Here's something new that I just got pretty much fully working: Subtitles! They change location and sized based on the direction and distance of the sound's location. I did this because listening for noises and where they're coming from is an important aspect of Baldi's Basics.
