��ʜᴇ ꜰɪʀꜱᴛ 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ This Saturday’s @NCAADII men’s soccer quarterfinal between Charleston and Felician will be Daniel Smee’s 100th game as the head coach for the Golden Eagles. His record in 5 years* at Charleston is 88-7-4 — an impressive 89% winning percentage. Smee has guided Charleston to five consecutive Mountain East Conference tournament championships (‘20,’21,’22,’23,’24), three NCAA Division II quarterfinal appearances (‘21,’22,’24) and one national championship appearance in 2021. Smee and his Golden Eagles (20-1-1) attempt to take the next step toward a national championship this Saturday afternoon against Felician University (17-3-3) at the Welch Athletic Complex. In a 9 day span, I was on the call for 13 games/matches in 4 different sports...football, basketball, soccer and volleyball. The #NCAAD2 crossover season is a grind but a tremendous effort by the @ucwv_athletics staff, the good folks at @TheMountainEast and the hard work by the @videostreamWV crew.
