different ways to look at it…point well taken…. we can afford something like that now- might mean one has to settle for the ghetto.
That house is very small. One bathroom. No A/C. That car is very cheaply made. Lotsa steel, not much else. Compare a new car's features to those of that era. Health care was minimal. The wives didn't work. People smoked and died young so no big aging population. You would hate it.
