The law you’re referring to is “Impoundment Control Act of 1974”. It’s being tested. Taxpayers elected Trump, who ran on cutting spending.

@TRHLofficial ‘Saw another post that seems to answer it. The law is “Impoundment Control Act of 1974”. POTUS can’t unilaterally stop funds appropriated by Congress. He has to notify them & they have 45 days to approve. Senate Dems would filibuster to force wasteful spending.
