Newest All-Star coming to town tonight:
Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young has been named by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver to replace injured Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo on Team Chuck in the 2025 NBA All-Star Game. Young has earned his fourth NBA All-Star selection. He is averaging 23.5 points and an NBA-leading 11.4 assists per game in 49 games this season. Antetokounmpo is unable to participate in the NBA All-Star Game because of a left calf strain. The nine-time NBA All-Star was drafted onto Team Chuck by its general manager, TNT analyst Charles Barkley. The 74th NBA All-Star Game will take place on Sunday, Feb. 16 at Chase Center in San Francisco. The new four-team, three-game mini-tournament will air at 8 p.m. ET on TNT.

With his Q-zip open, dangling gold necklace and his slicked back hair, Moe Wagner sported his usual bravado in his first time back on the #Magic bench. Long from a return to play, his impact was still felt between the white lines. "Moe was huge." More:

Paolo Banchero was struggling for most of the night. But when closing time came, the ball was in the #Magic forward's hands – exactly where they wanted it to be. "I was confident that if I could get to that spot, I was going to make the shot."

Spurs forward Harrison Barnes on the #Magic's Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero: "They are great players. I had a chance to work out with Franz during his pre-draft process out in LA. He is a great kid, extremely hard worker, love his game. Paolo has obviously blossomed into one of the better players in our league ... an All-Star and the future is bright here in Orlando obviously under Mose who was a coach of mine and a good friend. He is doing a good job with them.

Reset: #Magic 112, Spurs 111. 24.7 to go. SAS ball after the timeout. What a huge shot for Paolo Banchero. He'd been quiet for most of the night, but has answered the call in the fourth.
