Got official word: Bets on coin toss are allowed in North Carolina since it affects the actual event. Bets on length of national anthem, color of Gatorade, etc. don't and are not allowed. @AGoldFan

Terrific work here by Matt. Have gotten a copy of the letter, which does not hold back and a statement from UNC System: "President Hans took this action as a matter of good governance. He will not reference specific individuals or incidents and hopes to restore the delegated authority in the near future."

BREAKING: UNC System President Peter Hans limited the authority UNC-Chapel Hill trustees have over athletics. Hans said trustees have created "substantial legal risk to the University" by acting independently of the administration.

Per NC Lottery Commission, "North Carolina bettors can only place prop bets on items that occur within an actual athletic or sporting competition." FanDuel says no coin toss, national anthem, Gatorade, halftime show. Draft Kings does allow coin toss.

You can't bet on the Super Bowl coin toss, Gatorade color, length of national anthem or anything about the halftime show in North Carolina. You can bet on MVP.

Yes, $4M for first and second round games, $6M for semifinals and finals. Both SMU and Clemson lost in the first round.

Additionally, each existing team will get $1.6M from "expansion surplus." Money will largely offset additional travel costs related to expansion.
