The military has been awful at messaging to the public about what is spent on what, but to suggest a 50 billion increase has nothing to do with maintaining a level of spending during periods of inflation, and dramatic increases to US dollar hegemony around the world and the proliferation of dollars, and protection of a global free trade regime... It seems Americans have had enough info to put two and two together. The populist train we have ridden on for a few decades is getting dumber and dumber though. We seem to have forgotten we are the ones who shaped the world as it is. 🤷

The truth is whoever gets these resources will use them to build a warchest to take over the whole region. The USA cannot let Putin get these resources. They must come west.
Yeah.. okay. People don't understand that Ukraine does not want to get 1000 helmets and 10 tanks for free. Fuck these enforced kindness gestures that all they aim for is prevent Ukraine from having a say on the equipment it gets. Ukraine would much rather pay and receive 10000 tanks and thousands of jets. This war is a matter of survival to Ukraine.
