Mayor İmamoğlu paid an inspection visit to the Waste-to-Energy Plant being built in Kemerburgaz. 15% of Istanbul’s waste will be directed here by March 2021 and converted to electricity for 1.4 million people. Greenhouse gas emissions from waste will thus be reduced by 33%.
