Based on this @TheFP article on the $BUD Light debacle, it’s incredible Doukeris is still CEO. The funniest part is the epilogue, in which we lean the former (anti-fratboy) exec behind the Mulvaney promotion now works for Saudi Golf (aka LIV). RIP DEI

@KeepCANsafe @KHannisse @scoopercooper I think Trump would much prefer Pierre to another Liberal government. IMO, he would respect him (and Canada) much more.

@KeepCANsafe @KHannisse @scoopercooper This is true, but I do not think he really wants to pursue political control of Canada. If he did though, I look forward to seeing him try to pitch you on the glories of our healthcare system.

I feel like you’re having a different conversation. Most Americans never think of Canada as being part of our fentanyl problem. Trump’s public linking of Canada to it has drawn incredulity from many. Scott’s reporting shows that Trump didn’t make this up. If you dislike Trump, remember that even a broken clock is right twice a day.

@Biohazard3737 @elonmusk "Blow up this asteroid" is exactly the advice Goldman should give the Airbus consortium that's trying to figure out how to compete with SpaceX (sarcasm)

@KHannisse @scoopercooper Is it the best way? No. Is it better than what preceded it? IMO, yes, because what proceeded it was ineffective. My theory is that Trump is trying to help unseat liberal governments in the west so that he can partner with more muscular right wing governments against China.

@RitaKarakas Right, I’m promoting his book and newsletter. He’s one of the very few people exposing the corrupt underbelly of the CCP’s (and Iran/Hezbollah’s) machinations in Canada.

@RitaKarakas @scoopercooper Right. I’ve spoken with him in the past and nothing I’ve read or heard from him strikes me as inaccurate about the CCP’s malign influence in the U.S. and Canada nor its modus operandi.

@ErikLindy @scoopercooper One of the points of the article is that the RCMP seems to deliberately avoid the huge cartels like Sam Gor and instead goes after small time distributors (

@6E6F206F6E65 @scoopercooper Ignore the container portion. The article focuses on the numerous RCMP investigations that are dropped due to edicts from the top and the USG’s belief that it can no longer share sensitive intel with Canada.

@EliasMonsor @paulmidler @scoopercooper This has failed. I used to believe in that policy, but seeing the results (SF, Portland, VC, LA…) led me to conclude that while The War on Drugs is un-winnable, it needs to be fought. The point is to not lose it.
