@cemaxecuter It would be cool to turn them on before you ship them, then you’d include a free wardrive data set with every purchase :)

@aoighost @cemaxecuter I still don’t see the point. Maybe join the GNURadio dev channel on matrix and talk with us there. Contributions are always welcome.

@aoighost @cemaxecuter Any GNURadio flowgraph can be controlled via XMLRPC. Just add the XMLRPC Server block to the graph. Section 2 in this paper also shows how to add Introspection so all available flowgraph parameters can be fetched by a client.

@cemaxecuter @aoighost I believe it. I think once I add controls to the webspectrum browser interface it will offer a cool way to tune any front end from either the browser or web requests. Then downstream processing applications would need to accept ZMQ as an input and some config for the params.

@aoighost @cemaxecuter I’m missing something. While Dragon OS is the most comprehensive collection of open source SDR software that I’m aware of, saying you want an API for DragonOS is like saying you want an API for Ubuntu 22 desktop.

@aoighost @cemaxecuter Unless you can containerize an antenna you’re likely not going to have cloud based streaming DSP. You can’t compress IQ like a video stream. Closed box sure, but once a radio and antenna are involved you’re going to have to use on a method of transport that doesn’t exist yet.

2) GNURadio-based web spectrum display Build the docker container, connect the right SDR (or use synthetic spectrum), Setup your web access, see your SDR's spectrum from anywhere.

@fillagrew @tdsepsilon Not hard at all. In fact, it’s zero work cause they’re both already in the repo :)

@technopolis_tv @technopolis_tv DM me on here or GNURadio matrix chat if you need help setting it up for multiple systems. In the project’s current state, it’s a single end-to-end connection, but it’s easy enough to modify cause it’s all in-tree GNURadio blocks.
