@defnotbeka It's also not quite 2.3% for <insert city here> its 2.3% * <overlap area of city with current ground track>, which is much lower. Hopefully we know more in a few months and can rule it out entirely.

@ByrneHobart I don’t think the folks vandalizing wamos have the threat model that you do. It’s not fundamentally about trust, it’s a combo of ignorance and the ability of a small bit of face covering to mitigate 99.9% of potential bad consequences.

@WomanDefiner OK, but this isn't what humans do. Racial and cultural differences *don't* stop interbreeding in humans, that's why race ends up mixed up, complicated, and political. The racist discomfort is: though you dislike <other> your kids are probably going to sleep with them anyway!

@RichardHanania @realDonaldTrump @JDVance He's not going to attack other grifters lol. He'll just run his own version or support theirs.

@IllyBocean They're targeting old folks who feel ignored by their kids and are on Facebook to get some simulacrum of social interaction.

@world_citizen_1 @sammarelich For a particular white leader, their non-white non-male ex-protégés now individually meet or exceed the original leader’s scope.

@leyanlo You’re right. It’s cheaper for them long term though because statistically we collectively learn not to fight them.

@TylerAlterman A) Placebo effect B) Modern diets can easily leave you with some minor micro-nutrient deficiencies which mean you get immediate positive feedback when you start, but you don't know why exactly, which leads back into A.

@hagaetc Was this not a predictable consequence of forming a company under this tax law? Were the people writing you checks at that high valuation totally unwilling to pay the tax bill on the "value" of y'all's ambition? Did y'all not have lawyers look at the deal before you signed?

@nickcammarata I think the whole concept of levels of simulation is pure hubris. Like two individual cells trying to communicate about a relationship between entire humans. If our experience forms the substrate for another higher experience, we're not going to understand how in the slightest.

@DanielleFong Their pre-intervention in-depth testing put her in the middle of the bell curve, but that was not determinative for whether services were provided 🤷‍♂️ Im sure there’s some poor kid who missed their 11mo doctor visit with a dev disability that we’d gladly donate our help to.
