I think to me its maybe that this kind of outfit is in character for I-no in a way that makes it less "sexy" and more fun. Like guilty gear isnt perfect Dizzy has a pretty awful design and the Jam panty flashes in the old game are shitty

this is litteraly the biggest problem across the entire series, theres some actual pretty cool and insightful social commentary that almost makes a point and then turns around and says "this is a game for losers and degenerates and we have to adhere to them"

it was good because it was creative and original and had a huge emotional impact on people not because it had representation. I'm trans and I didn't even think of it as a trans narrative until after I saw it. It was just fire.
