This isn't just a random heartwarming scene from

. The beautiful old lady is portrayed by Ann Roth, 2x Oscar-winner Costume Designer, who obviously also takes the same role in this film. A phenomenal cameo that works as a sweet tribute to such a brilliant woman.

ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT is one of the best films of 2022! An emotionally powerful anti-war epic depicting the BRUTALITY, mercilessness of WWI through the sensitive eyes of a German soldier. Some of the most JAW-DROPPING cinematography I’ve seen in years. 2h27 that flew by!

CHEVALIER impressed me. The MUSIC is incredibly cathartic & tells so much about the characters, also ending the film in epic fashion. Cast is phenomenal, as Kelvin Harrison Jr. offers one of the best performances of 2023. Costume design & makeup are award-worthy.
