Just got my Twitter account back! Whatever you do, NEVER copy & paste the same comment in three consecutive Tweets because it trips an algorithm that locks yor account. Twitter's own help advice did not work. Had to submit an appeal! @CSWWC18

Would some of my colleagues please post on SM I am not currently participating in? @EssiAvellan @neil_beckett3 @littlebedwyn @SimonStockton3 @Rachbop
I have just noticed an anomaly in my review of @CSWWC2024 in Issue 86 of @worldoffinewine. I understand and accept why text gets cut, but I'm not sure how the average scores have become unrelated percentages, and hope readers might appreciate the original text for explanation.

Just received my latest copy of @worldoffinewine and wonder if anyone else thought that @victoriabeckham had taken up winemaking 😁

@quick_philip @elonmusk Technically I have been an Instagram member for a while, but never posted. I suppose if I was really determined to make a mark on SM or genuinely worried that no one is listening, I would join SocialPilot, Buffer etc and post everywhere with a single click.

@dccrossley @wineworldnews @sparklingwinos @GlassOfBubbly @So_mmel_ier @Champagne @sparklingonline @alicefeiring @beckysueepstein @jameswyatt7777 @ChampagneGuruUK Adding fresh must to a sparkling wine is usually, where practiced (eg Veneto ), part of the LDE rather than LDT and has never been traditional for Champagne, hence not allowed.

@wineworldnews @sparklingwinos @GlassOfBubbly @So_mmel_ier @Champagne @sparklingonline @alicefeiring @beckysueepstein @jameswyatt7777 @ChampagneGuruUK 2/2 ... there probably wouldn't be a fine wine. So, in that sense, Champagne is as natural as most other wines. 🥳🥂🍾

RT @finewinetwitta: @mrtomfizz Thanks Tom, I’ve actually never heard it put that succinctly before.

As a definition, Christie's World Encyclopedia of Champagne & Sparkling Wine states that a multi-vintage "should not apply to a blend of any years, but should be limited to a blend of years that the producer in question intends to release or has already released as a vintage"
What is the difference between non-vintage and multi-vintage? via @ClubOenologique #champagne #vintage #wineworldnews

RT @fletchwine: CDV very, very good. Don't start me on corks - every single wine (this isn't half) was really about how shitastic they were…

@colinonwine @fletchwine @AdrianPAtkinson 2/2 ... gee-up the MWs who were confounded by red wines that were sparkling! Then I thought Lambrusco was shit, until I visited the area and discovered a new generation of producers who were making great Lambrusco secco, pushing to brut and making super food wines. Go, see, taste

@colinonwine @fletchwine @AdrianPAtkinson 1/2 I was exactly the same: if it's red and it's sparkling, it just ain't right! Until I first visited Australia (late-1980s) and tasted and talked "sparkling burgundy" at source with producers, then at the first @InternationalWC @robertjoseph asked me to go on a panel and ...

@fletchwine @AdrianPAtkinson It would be appreciated. Love the stuff and knew they spent some time in cube, presumably oak, prior to bottling, which is why they seemed so fresh, yet they keep amazingly well.

@fletchwine @AdrianPAtkinson At what age was the stunning Show Sparkling Shiraz bottled? Min-Max?

@RealHumptyB @trimbach @BoringdonHall I know one very good friend and colleague who hates G, but if you love the more spicy terpenes, it can be wonderful at the table and its really worth paying a small premium for Trimbach's Cuvée des Seigneurs de Ribeaupierre!
