I finally made a Mastodon account — come join the fun here: I'm currently at @rustlab_conf in beautiful Florence and have been posting about a few of the #rust talks from this morning.

@MarcoIeni @rustconf Yay, I was just thinking about you and 😄 I would still like to automate my releases using a tool that I don't have to maintain myself!

If you want to use #baremetal #rust, then you'll find useful tips in this new blog post by my teammate @domenuk!
You think Rust is great but you can't use it for your embedded device? Ivan and me wrote a blog post about gradually introducing it into existing C firmware 🦀🦀🦀

@theprincessxena @timClicks I agree! I've been using #Emacs for decades now, including the last five years at Google. While working from home during the pandemic, I loved how little changed in my workflow when I used it in text mode over a SSH connection.

Please keep adding GitHub stars 🌟! I think they helped the repository get into the Trending list on GitHub at least twice, which in turn made it go viral here and on other social media platforms.
In the last year: - More than 330k visitors browsed the course material. - 239 people contributed more than 1,300 pull requests on GitHub. Thank you! - The GitHub project moved into the top 1% of all Google GitHub repositories (with 23k stars)! 2/4

Yes, a huge thank you to everybody who read Comprehensive Rust and sent us feedback, bug fixes, translations, and new content! It's been an amazing 12 months and I hope the family of courses will continue to be a useful learning resource to the whole #Rust community in 2024!
It’s been exactly a year since we open sourced our internal training “Comprehensive Rust.” We’re deeply humbled by the community support! Thanks to all who took the training, used the material, reported issues, and especially to the hundreds(!) of contributors. Some numbers: 1/4

Turns out Comprehensive Rust is on the trending repository page at spot 19! 🥳 Thanks for all the PRs you've sent us in the last few days! Dustin had been busy fixing a few things in the rewrite and @adehohum has been polishing the Chromium section for a class next week.
