Today’s visit was celebrating wider achievement. These boys from Primary 3 moved up in TaeKwonDo to their new belt. I was so impressed to hear this is their 6th belt they have achieved since starting this hobby a year ago…WOW! They told everyone about it at a assembly too 👏🏻👍🏻

Our Mini Vinnies 1st charity campaign of the year was an appeal to collect balls of wool for a local group who are knitting items for homeless people in Glasgow to keep them warm in the cold, winter weather. An amazing total of over 90 balls have been donated! 🧶

Yesterday, the Singing Club (Group 2) sang their hearts out at St Enoch’s Centre raising funds for Ronald McDonald House Charity. They were absolutely amazing & several members of the public stopped our staff to compliment them on their singing and their behaviour.

This week’s visitors made me burst with pride. F in Primary 1 showed incredible kindness to her friend; everyone knows that kindness in our school makes me so happy 😁 P & C also brought their swimming certificates into school & shared their wider achievements with me. Well done!

We are so proud of this Primary 1 boy who was awarded the “Student of the Week” certificate at karate. He was able to talk confidently about what he has learned at his class & the different coloured belts you can get if you work & train hard. Well done N 👏🏻

Today at assembly we talked about October being a month dedicated to Our Lady & the importance of the Rosary. We learned about the 1st Joyful Mystery, The Annunciation & we prayed a decade of the rosary together. We will continue to pray decades daily throughout October📿

We celebrated all our commonalities and community spirit through a mixed football match! Mr Gillon, our recently retired Head Teacher, is the first name on the Cup. ☺️⚽️
