@crunchy_mum2024 I'm convinced it brought out the retarded in droves - all wearing tinfoil hats, yelling anti-science slogans and pushing conspiracy drivel while people were getting sick and dying...

@theafroaussie Trolled yes - but that makes no difference and neither does the obvious edit. They were both vindictive and dumb - and displayed a nasty, viciously offensive attitude. There's no coming back from that. The damage is done - and permanent.

@brugmanjoost @DBCooperTX @AmbJohnBolton Sure! It didn't happen yet - so that PROVES it can't happen... That's your thesis - right?

@shopaholicdivas @AmbJohnBolton Only 20 percent was miserable. They were so confident of taking Kyiv in 3 days that the top Russian military had already booked out the best restaurants to celebrate victory - instead of which they mostly got shot to pieces .

@GoodWoo2 @AmbJohnBolton Do you not watch the news? Trump's plans are pretty clear - he's standing with Russia and North Korea.

@JayinKyiv It's a downturn. But in the larger scheme of things - Trump is a flash in the pan. Hopefully, there will be time to make amends.

@sam46able @TruthdriverOn Well, you may believe that. Personally, I don't buy it. Statistically, the wealthier the donor, the more likely they will support LNP. Teals, as independents, are free to preference best policies - not party policies. Dutton just needs better policies

@anders_aslund The comments here are purportedly those of US citizens - but they're not the freedom loving, respect for law & order comments we might expect. The values reflected seem very unamerican - empire building, bullying traditional friends - Russian bots/propaganda?

@QBCCIntegrity For many years in the UK, in every general election there was a chance to vote for "The Monster Raving Loony Party" - it was a real thing. Your suggested party of alt right Trump worshippers & throwbacks to the "white Australia" era - deserves a similar name

@ArchRose90 Every single one of those countries you mention is already hosting several hundred thousand Palestinian refugees. Jordan is pretty much wall to wall Palestinians - but you make it sound like they have never helped...

@VividProwess This post implies that neighboring countries reject Palestinians. In reality, there are already hundreds of thousands of them in every surrounding country and beyond.

@ellymelly One set of corrupt practices replaces another. You can confidently expect the GOP to exceed any shenanigans the Dems get up to. We do not have that level of corrupt activity in Australia - just mates rates, deals and rorts.

@btckr I'm not sure what your ideal might be. We already have a bunch of minor parties people can vote for, and personally, I see a huge difference between Labor's policies & the spectre of Dutton channeling Trump to import US talking points & policies.

@TruthdriverOn I can understand you're not happy with their politics, but that does not make them bad guys. They are doing what they are supposed to do. Personally, I get tired of reps who promised one thing then just toe the party line and let the electorate down.

@CampbellNewman I don't think think many Australians - on the left or right, would disagree with you on this. It sends the right message. What is surprising is the extent to which ordinary Australians align themselves so passionately now in partisan foreign conflicts.

@NewRulesGeo Yes. Trump is very unlikely to get his way on this Gaza issue - though obviously there is still plenty of scope to make even more trouble...
