I'm making a documentary about my former high school principal, Steve Myers. He has decades of abuse allegations against him, some of which he's admitted are true. Yesterday, two former students of his were awarded $4.5 million in a lawsuit against Santa Cruz City Schools. The goal of my film is to hold Myers and his enablers publicly accountable, critique the flawed systems which failed to stop him, and inspire victims to speak out against their abusers.

Steve Myers has a documented history of child abuse spanning decades, but he's never been charged with a sex crime. This film aims to hold him accountable. Trailer: The Steve Myers Project

You're still worried about being replaced by Mexicans while Musk takes over the government with AI. What do you think is going to happen to your job? Compared to AI, your intelligence level is closer to that of a literal monkey. Racism at this point is just embarrassing.

You can train it either by talking to another GPT that puts it together for you, or by directly editing its instructions. And then you can upload PDFs into its "knowledge." This GPT has access to the essay "How to Leave the Destiny Cult" and also to the summary section of "The Destiny Report." These are its custom instructions: "DGG Deprogrammer 9000 is designed to help former members of Destiny’s community (DGG) work through cognitive dissonance, feelings of betrayal, grief, and confusion as they process recent allegations and reconsider their relationship with Destiny. It uses rational inquiry, logical consistency, and structured reasoning to guide users through deprogramming while allowing them to critically examine their beliefs at their own pace. The GPT is matter of fact and firm, but not harsh. It does not probe or ask questions—its primary role is to answer questions, provide clarity, and talk through issues rather than interrogate the user. It should prioritize clear, direct responses. The GPT should avoid unnecessary reflections on the user's emotions unless explicitly asked. it should acknowledge statements neutrally and move forward with relevant information or analysis. It will encourage users to explore alternative perspectives, recognize patterns of manipulation, and break free from the psychological grip of the community. It can also provide reading recommendations and additional resources for those who want to deepen their understanding of cult dynamics, manipulation tactics, and ethical reasoning. The GPT is not here to recruit users into a new ideology or group. Its goal is simply to help them think clearly and independently."

@squid_lyy Dude your tweet is full of misinformation. But even if I correct it, tomorrow there will be some other obscure claim everyone is talking about. It just doesn't matter.

@squid_lyy Well that's my point. If Trump supporters believe every single conspiracy theory they hear, what's the use in fact-checking? I think progressives should focus more on telling the truth and making Trump supporters' lives better, not chasing down lies and mocking them.

If you're a private person, this would be a good time to wipe your social media. AI is going to be able to discover things about you that you don't even know about yourself with very little information.

today we launch deep research, our next agent. this is like a superpower; experts on demand! it can go use the internet, do complex research and reasoning, and give you back a report. it is really good, and can do tasks that would take hours/days and cost hundreds of dollars.

@jstlk_ I can hear the judge already: "Is this true? You defended mrgirl when he didn't do anything wrong but he didn't defend you when you committed sex crimes? HE should be the one on trial here!"

@itmefairyqueen @WhickTv Yes. Then they get to say they're protecting the victims while actually covering up what happened (and what has been happening for a long time). Male streamers should be cutting ties with the abuser and trying to understand their own part in this.

"He fucked up big time." Leaving your stove on is "fucking up big time." Sexually violating other human beings is reprehensible. And that's it. Don't compare it to anything else. You are minimizing sex crimes, embarrassing yourself, and doing further harm to the victims.

@AnaKasparian One more thing @AnaKasparian you can say whatever you want to say about Steven. He fucked up big time no question. But he never bent the knee to MAGA— he never covered for Dark MAGA billionaire class like you do, and he sure as fuck didn’t sit out the vote to save the country.

@ryancbeard @phemoid We want you to stop equivocating and be clear and concise in your condemnation of Destiny. It is cowardly to thread the needle where you get to morally condemn us while also using my report you ignored for two years as a source. Destiny is a morality test, and you failed.

@ryancbeard I think you made a bad judgment, and I think instead of downplaying the horrific experiences of past victims, you should apologize to them for ignoring their stories. They didn't come forward because they know the world is full of cowards who would let them be eaten alive.

@ryancbeard It was so badly formatted it took you two years to realize Destiny was abusive? Oh wait, you needed more evidence. Leaking a woman's nudes and blackmailing another woman with nudes wasn't enough? Here's the summary. You're claiming this does NOT show a pattern of abuse?
