I'm making a documentary about my former high school principal, Steve Myers. He has decades of abuse allegations against him, some of which he's admitted are true. Yesterday, two former students of his were awarded $4.5 million in a lawsuit against Santa Cruz City Schools. The goal of my film is to hold Myers and his enablers publicly accountable, critique the flawed systems which failed to stop him, and inspire victims to speak out against their abusers.

@squid_lyy Well that's my point. If Trump supporters believe every single conspiracy theory they hear, what's the use in fact-checking? I think progressives should focus more on telling the truth and making Trump supporters' lives better, not chasing down lies and mocking them.

If you're a private person, this would be a good time to wipe your social media. AI is going to be able to discover things about you that you don't even know about yourself with very little information.

@itmefairyqueen @WhickTv Yes. Then they get to say they're protecting the victims while actually covering up what happened (and what has been happening for a long time). Male streamers should be cutting ties with the abuser and trying to understand their own part in this.

"He fucked up big time." Leaving your stove on is "fucking up big time." Sexually violating other human beings is reprehensible. And that's it. Don't compare it to anything else. You are minimizing sex crimes, embarrassing yourself, and doing further harm to the victims.

@ryancbeard @phemoid We want you to stop equivocating and be clear and concise in your condemnation of Destiny. It is cowardly to thread the needle where you get to morally condemn us while also using my report you ignored for two years as a source. Destiny is a morality test, and you failed.

@ryancbeard I think you made a bad judgment, and I think instead of downplaying the horrific experiences of past victims, you should apologize to them for ignoring their stories. They didn't come forward because they know the world is full of cowards who would let them be eaten alive.
