Finally, now I know what to respond to "what do you do at AWS?" "I’m going to write another doc with an idea of how we can streamline this process for a first run experience and then ask Massimo to tell me everywhere I’m wrong so we can make it even better” (a PM on Slack)

@ibuildthecloud I tried a new Linux system (AL2) and it worked. The Mac M1 also (eventually) came up (after an undefined number of attempts to up it).
