I don't read it quite that way. The test was performative, and presumably, Starmer has been a one-woman man for decades. Although *perhaps* important for public health messaging, it was a redundant test, most likely. We all want these monsters to be investigated, prosecuted, and deported. By creating a climate of lies around what they have done, you make it harder for all of that to happen.
