Thank you @Starlink for providing the best and most affordable rural internet for those like me, who had few other options. It's easily the best value, has given me good speeds consistently, and had been extremely reliable. 10 outta 10.

I always look for the best value. Starlink is fantastic for rural people with limited options and I highly recommend it, I'm a big fan. However, it's more expensive and slower compared to fiber. #Fiber will become available in my area in September, and I'll be making the switch.

That being said, I harbor no ill will to Viasat or Hughesnet, they do offer affordable options for those not looking for the higher speeds & more data. I'm glad they seem to have improved in the last 4 years.

Starlink outperforms Hughesnet & Viasat. Similar cost after intro rates + fees, but faster, no caps, and no commitments. The expansion of starlink pushed the others to make some improvements and slightly better offerings, but big picture- Starlink is the clear winner.

Viasat now: 49mbps DL, 7mbps Up, 609ms latency, $75/mo (then $100/mo). Both exclude equip/fees. Cheaper plans exist, but don’t match Starlink’s value.
