Federal air traffic controllers are exempted from the hiring freeze. It's time to say our party is not well served by @SenSchumer
Instead of going on TV to say whatever nonsensical thoughts pop into his head, Donald Trump should be working to actually put safety first and make sure a tragedy like this never happens again. A good place to start: He should lift his FAA hiring freeze with immediate effect! He should be hiring across the board for these critical positions to keep Americans safe.
