@cornerstcre @AppleTV It’s very misguided and that’s kind of the point. Lumon is a cult, a religion that doesn’t want to do anything besides recruit everyone to it’s principles. The company has never once strayed from this approach. I don’t think it’s inconsistent. Is it working? No, but that’s Lumon.

@cornerstcre @AppleTV Oh okay wow we must be watching a completely different show I never once thought the writers wanted us to believe anything Lumon says, that’s kind of the intrigue for me anyways. Also Lumon is a bizarre and extremely cultish company. Like why would anything they do make sense?

@cornerstcre @AppleTV I do agree a little bit with this because I am also a bit jarred at the fact that Lumon is letting the innies sleep as their innies. Maybe they believe in Helena and Milchick a little too much, who knows. It’s episode 4 out of 10 though, so I’m not put off by it yet.

@cornerstcre @AppleTV Lumon doesn’t see innies as people. This is like heavily implied, Cobel even says the best way to tame a prisoner is to make them believe they are free. Thus they are given a chance to see the “outside world”, even though everything is still very heavily controlled.
