@jfhksar88 This is the chart that matters. Apparently $7bn was deposited into Tethers accounts in exchange for tether tokens that can be used to trade crypto. Now why people didn't just buy one of the ETFs is a mystery, but not one that is going to be revealed in the next 4 years.

People should consistently use the terms "President Musk" and "VP Trump". Praise Elon as the "real strategic mastermind" behind every move that Trump makes or proposes. In 30 days, Trump would lose it. Kick Elon out, and strike at Tesla.

@anrm6 Took me longer to scrub through the timeline to get to the fight than time spent watching it. I lost interest after two and a half round. Watched Tyson knockout compilations instead.

Disagree on this. The FSD experiment is already being done on the streets of America. If anything, zero regulation would open the door to competitors even more. People keep their hands on the wheel because they don't want to die - not because uncle Sam told them to.
Musk got rich in the first place milking the government. And he stayed rich by thwarting regulators when he broke the rules and mislead investors. If you don’t think this doge thing is going to be used to cheat self driving safety regulation, cheat the FAA and everything else, I swamp land in Louisiana to sell ya.

@klafbang IDK about that, the first few generations were notoriously unreliable and many ads for older pre-owned teslas will tell you that the motor (and/or battery) was replaced. Naturally, an electric motor is a very different experience from an ICE.

@Opcode_Network @klafbang Eventually humans make everything we like scarce. If we upgrade the power-grid to handle 3x the load, we will invent new ways of consuming that surplus power (e.g. "mining" crypto is something that is applauded in the west).

@klafbang Regular ICE cars are not a high profit market because you really can't make significant leaps that make your product significantly better (objectively) than the competition. Different - yes - but that's a branding choice.

@toastedavocado2 I don't think they will - we (as westerners) will just have to settle for inferior products made domestically. We'll survive, of course, and we don't miss what we don't know about.
