What’s wild about this argument too is that Bridgerton is explicitly a fantasy. You’re fine with the historically inaccurate costumes, pop covers, and racial diversity but you draw the line at a thin handsome man liking a chubby girl??? REALLY??!

fatphobia is genuinely a mind rotting agent bc wdym it’s not “plausible” that the “fat girl win the prince” first of all ur a loser. second, this narrative that fat women must to be exceptional to “earn” the attention of a man is not only fatphobic/misogynistic but delusional—

Fatphobia says, “it is every individual’s responsibility and duty to shape their body into the proper aesthetic. If you fail to do this for any reason, it is evidence of your immorality and you deserve whatever happens to you as a result.” This is a right-wing mentality.
