@bennyjohnson Except the scientific community is largely against the RFK Jr. nomination. Of course it isn't a monolith, but the number of things RFK Jr. Says that are clearly false, or just incredibly dumb readings of the science is alarming. He gets some things right, but it's not enough.

They would almost always have some kind of medical event that hospitalizes them first. Also Canada went from 32-69? In what ranking? Can you link a source?

@SuzCrimi I like this sentiment of this I guess. But to be fair it's totally sane to not invite an unvaccinated person to a holiday party when Covid was raging. It SHOULD have been possible to have a good faith disagreement. People just got so nasty.

@patrickbetdavid I say Merry Christmas everywhere (I'm a Canadian liberal). I do sometimes receive happy holidays back but I am never offended by it. Moreover, I've never sensed I'm offending anyone by saying it. My experience is that it was never totally taboo to say it. It's always been fine.
